Description
The signing dialog has developed numerous shortcomings:
- The prefilled validity dates do not auto-activate the "Yes"-Button
- The end of validity may be defaulted to a date beyond the validity of the signing authority, which is a reason to abort the process
- Invalid authorities are offered for signing operations and a message box appears (this is related to ticket #93)
- It is unclear as to when or when not an entered date activates or disables the "Yes"-Button (see ticket #94)
- Not all requested extensions are displayed in a readable format (i.e. a requested basic constraint is not shown)
- Requested extensions do not show their criticality value
As a pure UX issue the dialog could be reworked graphically to initially display more information, where it is currently basically always too small when initially displayed.
