SpamAssassin Teacher¶

Development suspended

The SpamAssassin Teacher is a (most certainly completely oversized and overdeveloped) tool for mail (IMAP!) servers with !SpamAssassin using its built-in Bayes filter system. On those systems sa-teacher can be run on a regular basis and will call !SpamAssassin's sa-learn to feed the Bayes filter with new data. This way it is not necessary for users to have !SpamAssassin installed locally (provided they have read/write access to their databases) nor for server administrators to grant users a local shell on the server.

Since sa-teacher is doing its job for years now without any problems it is considered stable and development is suspended. If you find bugs or want an enhancement feel free to open a ticket anyway.

The latest stable sources are in the files section (0.10 is also still at the old location: http://www.pc-tiede.de/pub/sa-teacher/sa-teacher-0.10.tar.bz2).
