3 | Every tabletop RPG master using a laptop while mastering knows the problem: Space on the table is a rare and valued ressource and rolling dice seemingly without any obvious reasons gains complete wariness of every player near enough to notice. This may be a very convenient way to gain attention, but if the roll is important to switch a secret choice in the plot it's not very helpful. And - after all - rolling physical dice on a laptop is always prone to loose some dice on the floor. |

5 | So this is a small tool to solve both problems. Rolls with a number of dice impossible to hold in two hands are only one unobtrusive mouseclick away. |

7 | qtDice is mainly written for "Shadowrun":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadowrun 4, but can also support any other RPG-System supporting simple probes with a number of dice with the same number of sides. |
